“Smoking” with an E Cigarette: Very Cost Effective

Tired of paying the exorbitantly high cost of a carton of cigarettes?

You’re not alone, and there may be a solution: e cigarettes.

An e cigarette, also known as an electronic cigarette and smokeless cigarette, allows smokers to have the “experience” of smoking a cigarette, but with less nicotine, no tar, and none of the smell and icky butts left over.

What’s more e-cigarettes cost less than cigarettes.

Cigarettes today cost about $5 dollars a pack. With 10 packs to a carton, a carton of cigarettes will cost a smoker about $50. If someone is a pack-a-day smoker, her direct-out-of-pocket cost each year easily could be $1,850. Multiply that year after year and one is talking about the cost of saving for retirement, a college education, a new car, and so on — all up in smoke.

In fact, $1,850 a year could mean a nice vacation that year, or a new couch that year.

You get the drift.

So while a carton of real cigarettes will set a smoker back about $50, an e-cigarette will cost the person $20-$30 for the equivalent amount of liquid nicotine cartridges, the “insides” of an e cigarette.

E-cigarettes work with a battery, an atomizer and the aforementioned liquid nicotine cartridge. A user inhales and a signal is then sent to the atomizer’s heating unit, which heats up and turns the liquid nicotine into a nice soft mist — it looks like smoke.

But it’s not smoke. In fact, it emits no awful cigarette smoke smell. Which means increased savings because there will be no need to spend extra to remove nicotine stains from your home’s walls, or to clean your furniture or the inside of your car to get rid of that awful smoky smell.

No more will you have to purchase ashtrays, cigarette lighters. No more will you burn small holes in tablecloths, clothing or furniture.

The cost savings of switching to e cigarettes can be quite substantial.
